This place is located near Agumbe which receives the highest rainfall in Karnataka and Kunchikal being a seasonal waterfall. It is best to visit this place from July to September when the Varagi river runs full-fledged. During Monsoon seasons these falls will turn wild and offer a spectacular view of white waters tumbling down the valley with full force. Chances of spotting a beautiful beaming rainbow are high on a rainy day. Besides this, do not miss the sunsets that are absolutely breathtaking from a sunset point nearby. There is a prominent hydroelectric plant that is built up in waterfalls to generate high powers and is distributed to most parts of Karnataka.
