Wayanad, is located in the northeast of Kerala state which is the only plateau in Kerala. The Kabini River, a tributary of the Kaveri River, originates at Wayanad. Complete with misty mountains, splendid forests, pristine rivers, and cascading waterfalls, Wayanad is ‘the’ hill station of choice in South India. Not particularly touristy, the district is famed for its wildlife parks and unspoiled nature. Trek to mountain-top lakes and caves, bamboo raft through rivers, and cycle around winding roads to make the most of this spectacular North Kerala region. Wayanad has Tea Estates, mesmerizing mountains, breathtaking viewpoints, amazing waterfalls, you name it and that’s there.

Wayanad Exploration Itinerary

Day 0 (03/05/2024, Friday)

👉Start From Bangalore at 10 PM.

Day 1 (04/05/2024, Saturday)

👉Reach the beautiful Homestay located amidst the thick forest.
👉 Freshen up and have breakfast.
👉 Head to Beautiful Waterfalls to see the white water gushing down the forest.
👉 A small walk to reach the base of the waterfalls.
👉 Take a dip at the waterfalls with water gushing down from the mountains

Have Lunch

Please note – There will be lots of Crowd during weekends and there’s very few options for restaurants. Hence we request you to cooperate with the food stops as suggested by our experienced trek leads so that we don’t compromise on the itinerary.

👉Head to the famous 900 Kandi Glass Bridge
👉 Visit the glass bridge at Kandi on an off-road jeep ride.

👉 Experience South India’s only Glass Bridge to experience panoramic views and experience many more adventurous activities.
👉Head back to the Homestay.
👉 Enjoy the chilling night with a warm campfire with the dam view and star gazing.
👉Enjoy the campfire, with singing, dancing, and showcasing other talents.
👉 Savour the lip-smacking local cuisine dinner and sign off for the day

Day 2 (05/05/2024, Sunday)

👉Wake up and freshen up.
👉 Have tea/coffee & breakfast
👉 Head to Wayanad Tea Museum and sip on some hot chai
👉Start to Banasura Sagar Dam
👉Have lunch on the way

👉Enjoy the scenic Beauty of the dam and take countless pictures.
👉Start to Bangalore and have dinner on the way
👉Reach Bangalore by 1030 – 11pm (approx)

Any changes in the pickup location/timings will be informed to you 24 hours in advance

Drop-off points shall be the same as the pick-up points

Please note: As the check-in timings are at 11 am, we will be arranging washrooms for freshen-up and a place to drop your luggage off. Post 11 am we will be allocating the rooms

we would maintain an equal male-to-female ratio for most of our trips
At least 8 members are required to confirm the trip

- This trip involves basic facilities in terms of food, travel, and stay without any luxury, whatsoever.
- This is a group trip with a shared model. It may not suit everyone – especially for those expecting privacy and comfort. It best suits people who wish to socialize
- Homestay with cots with beds/Floor mattresses(sharing basis, separate for boys & girls), clean washrooms
- Please do not book this trip if you are not okay with the above points.
Travel:
- Tempo Traveller or Mini Bus (with push-back seats).
- Note: This trip involves an overnight journey on a push-back Seater (Not sleeper or semis-sleeper).
- We request you to book this trip only if you can handle slight discomfort (especially the last row of the vehicle).
- Seats are allotted on a first come first serve basis to the pickup point

Co-operate with the organizer(s) in following the schedule set for the day (especially getting up and getting ready in the morning). This will ensure travelers won’t miss out on the real fun part – that is traveling.
Every traveler is responsible for his/her for your own safety while traveling with Adventure Buddha. Don’t indulge in any illegal or silly activity that causes harm to you or fellow travelers.
Unexpected situations: It may happen we do not cover all the places mentioned in the itinerary because of unpredictable reasons like bad weather, wild animal presence, abrupt blocking of sites by the police/forest department, delay in travel because of an issue with our group itself, traffic conditions, etc. In most cases, if the time permits, the organizer(s) will take travelers to an alternative place. But in some cases, we may have to skip a place altogether.
Travelers are expected to respect each other and help each other. Avoid discussing sensitive matters like sex, politics, and religion/caste/race.
Travellers / Trippers can pay 30 % of actual trip fee in Advance to confirm tickets (Which is Non Refundable)
Using foul or abusive language, eve-teasing, arguing with fellow travelers/organizer(s), and/or involving in the physical assault will not be accepted and will stand a chance of being deserted by Adventure Buddha team.
