Nestled amidst Nilgiri hills, Ooty, also known as Udagamandalam, is a hill station in Tamil Nadu. Once regarded as the summer headquarters of the East India Company, the Queen of the hills is a picturesque getaway. Dotted with tea gardens, serene waterfalls, winding country lanes, and charming colonial architecture, Ooty is the perfect respite for every travel enthusiast.

Ooty Explorations

Day 0 (03/05/2024, Friday)

• Start From Bangalore at 09:00 PM.
• Overnight Journey through Tempo Traveller (according to the group size)

Day 1 (04/05/2024, Saturday)

• Reach the spellbinding homestay, located amongst the evergreen forests of the Nilgiris with greenery all around by (8:30 Am)
• Freshen up and have breakfast by 10:00 Am, let’s depart to witness the beauty of Ooty
• Head towards Ooty Lake, one of the major attractions of Ooty, One can indulge in many activities like boating, Cycling the periphery, Horse Riding along the shores or simply admiring the beauty of the place
• Have Lunch(Self Sponsored)
• Visit the famous Botanical garden
• Visit Tea Estate View Point and sip a hot cup of flavourful chai
• Later after the refreshments, witness the fourth highest Peak in Tamil Nadu that offers panoramic views overlooking the entire town of Ooty, Doddobetta Peak.
• Head back to Homestay.
• Relish the local cuisine dinner (Self sponsored) and sign off for the day.

Day 2 (05/05/2024, Sunday)

• Freshen up and sip estate-brewed tea in the misty morning weather of Ooty.
• Have breakfast, pack your bags, and check out of the property.
• Head to Tea Estate
• Head to Chocolate Museum and Pine Forest
• Have lunch there(Self Sponsored).
• Visit Pykara Waterfalls and Pykara Lake (indulge in boating and enjoy the views).
• Start towards Bangalore and have dinner(Self Sponsored) on the way. 
• Reach Bangalore by around 11pm.

Please note: As the check-in timings are at 11 am, we will be arranging washrooms for freshen-up and a place to drop your luggage off. Post 11 am we will be allocating the rooms

Things To Carry

• Water Bottle – a life Savior(2 liters)
• Trekking shoes or hiking boots(helps you walk on different terrain with much ease)
• Backpack to carry all the items you need
• You can carry energy food like(dry fruits, Chocolate bars, Glucose, electrolytes, and flavored milk)
• Trekking pants or trousers(make sure you take comfortable ones)
• Sweaters or Pullovers
• Extra cash for things that are not included in the list
• Raincoat
• Personal medicine if required
• Mosquito repellent cream
• Torch or headlamps
• Flip flops to roam around the campsite
• Towels & Blankets
• Toilet Kit (Toothbrush, toothpaste, & shampoo)

• Please select your preferred pickup point on the checkout page
• Any changes in the pickup location/timings will be informed to you 24 hours in advance
• Drop-off points shall be the same as the pick-up points

Group Size

1. 12 to 20 members per trip
2. we would maintain an equal male-to-female ratio for most of our trips
3. At least 8 members are required to confirm the trip
4. In case we fail to get the minimum required numbers, a full amount refund or option to transfer them to any other future trip will be provided

  • Homestay with cots & beds/ floor mattresses (sharing basis, separate for boys & girls), clean washrooms
  • Please do not book this trip if you are not okay with the above points.

  Travel:

  • Tempo Traveller or Mini Bus (with push-back seats).
  • Note: This trip involves an overnight journey on a push-back Seater (Not sleeper or semis-sleeper).
  • We request you to book this trip only if you can handle slight discomfort (especially the last row of the vehicle).
  • Seats are allotted on a first come first serve basis to the pickup point
