Kadambi Falls is a seasonal waterfall that is located within the Kudremukh range of Western Ghats. White water gushes down through the rocks from a height of 30 ft and forms a pool at the foot of the falls. This fall is set amidst nature with a lot of greenery in the form of trees, shrubs, creepers, etc bordering it.
Kadambi Falls is right next to Sringeri and Kudremukh main road and it is clearly visible from the bridge nearby. As and when you are driving through this route, the sound of milky white water slides down and droplets sprinkling all over the bridge, will make any individual spare a minute and watch this beauty. However, if you wish to get closer to falls, you can park your vehicle on the bridge and hike down from the other side of the bridge. The path may seem little tricks as you need to perform small stunts. With a few hops and jumps across slippery rocks and woods will lead you to the bottom of falls. What next, take off your clothes, wear a swimsuit, and take a leap into the water to beat the heat.
During monsoon as the rivers run free and wild, Kadambi falls and the region around it comes alive full-fledged. So, the best time to visit this place will be during peak monsoon and post-monsoon( i.e. winter) from June to January. There isn’t any entry fee to the falls. However, try to avoid getting into the water in monsoon due to the high-risk factor involved.
